As is wont in this part of our trips we are getting a little weary, especially Syd who has been pretty much on the road since June 20th. Something simple today then, a museum perhaps? As it turns out, most museums in Barcelona are closed on Mondays except for The Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art. Sounds good to us!
Opened in 1995, El Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (The Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art) or MACBA was an interesting change of pace for our journey. Kim and I enjoyed it very much, so did Sydney but some of the more ‘advanced’ exhibitions threw her a little and she had to sit them out. One of the more interesting movies I saw was reenactment of scenes from ‘A Clockwork Orange’ with “Woman” but with the original soundtrack. Very surreal and fun.
Since arriving in Barcelona I have been seeing ads on my computer for fast track tickets for the cable car at El Teide in Tenerife. We did the fast track saved us several hours of waiting. Web cookies are funny things…
Tapas for dinner, great stuff!
