After all the travel we have done I still have a hard time repeating trips. But I have softened a bit and we have learned how to incorporate re-visits into new trips. First it was Paris, then Munich, now Barcelona. Revisits allow us to dig in deeper into a place we have access to and enjoyed. We had that today.
The pictures below will show you why we like Sagrada Familia, still under construction for over 100 years. If all goes according to schedule it will be done in 10 years in time for the anniversary of Gaudi’s death. But the locals are pessimistic, some say 2032 is more likely. All I can saw is wow. Look at the pictures below, we will be back.
On top of the basilica we had a chance to go back to a tapas bar we enjoyed years ago, Cerveseria Catalana. We enjoyed it 4 years ago and it lived up to our expectations on a re-visit.
